Enlightening Sales ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information across this website, the training programs at training.enlighteningsales.info, and our Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging service.
Information we collect
- Name and contact details, such as telephone number, email address, business name, role, city and state.
- Information you provide in the contact form, in a training registration, or in a quote request, including the message you write.
- Transactional information, such as purchase history and interactions with our team.
- Communication preferences, including whether you opted in to marketing email or text messages.
- Information provided during interactions with customer support.
Website forms and analytics
When you send the contact form, we store your submission, create or update your contact record in our customer relationship management system (GoHighLevel), and send you an acknowledgment and our team a notification through our email provider (Resend). The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs and, through Vercel Analytics, anonymous page-view metrics. When enabled, Google Tag Manager may load additional measurement tags. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Training programs
Registering for a course records your name, work email, business, role and location so that your completion, certificate and weekly drawing entry can be attributed to you and, where the course unlocks a tool, so that access can be reviewed. Completion records are shared with the manufacturer whose course you completed as name, business, city and state only. Training data is also logged to an internal tracker and to our CRM.
How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries, quote requests and training requests.
- To provide and manage our A2P messaging service, including updates, promotions, confirmations, and customer service.
- To run the training programs, issue certificates and administer the weekly drawing.
- To improve and personalize your experience.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Consent for messaging
By providing your telephone number and opting in, you consent to receiving automated SMS/MMS messages for informational and promotional purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by texting "STOP" to our messaging number. Marketing email is sent only when you opt in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with service providers performing services on our behalf (including our CRM, email, hosting and analytics providers named above), with the manufacturer whose training you completed as described above, to comply with laws or regulatory requirements, and to protect the rights and safety of Enlightening Sales and its customers.
Data security
Enlightening Sales employs appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Retention of personal information
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by applicable laws. Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months. Training records may be retained longer where a certificate or tool access depends on them.
